The Jordanian Ministry of Youth and the International Labor Organization have agreed on the need to implement programs and activities that develop the skills of young women\/young men in the field of sports, and refine the life skills of female\/recent graduates of sports colleges in order to increase employment opportunities in this sector.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    This came during a meeting held on Sunday, January 24, 2021 between the Minister of Youth, Muhammad Al-Nabulsi, and the International Labor Organization, represented by Reem Aslan, Director of Decent Work Programs at the ILO, and Farida Khan, the organization\u2019s coordinator in Jordan Projects, in the presence of the \u201cMudarrib\u201d sports consultancy company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Al-Nabulsi spoke about the importance of supporting young women \/ men by relying on emerging youth businesses, such as a \u201cMudarrib\u201d, or the development of sustainable programs by the Ministry of Youth to support youth energies through continuous partnerships such as the partnership with the International Labor Organization in the \u201cWomen in Sports\u201d program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    This program aims to employ 75 female graduates from colleges of sports in the same sector after their training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Since that each year, local sports colleges graduate 1,250 people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Aslan pointed to the need to educate females in the sports sector about their rights to have a decent work environment, and welcomed the joint cooperation between the youth ministry and the private sector.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
